If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you might have noticed that I spent a few weeks in Mexico with my family and friends late last year. I tried to take as many photos I could to share with you, so check them out below and enjoy!
First things first… Arrive to the the airport gate on time: Check.
After traveling for 22hrs its great to be welcomed by beautiful details from the family:
Once recovered from jetlag its time for a quick roadtrip to Leon, GTO and celebrate my cousin’s wedding!
Flanked by my favorite ladies and wearing our party dresses, its time to celebrate!
But first, let’s take a photo with this beautiful bunch:
And with this handsome guy:
Now its time to say “I do”! ♥
After the ceremony, photos and dancing, we lit up lanterns and sent our best wishes to the newlyweds:
Back at home, the weather is getting cold:
And when I say cold:
And it truly feels like a wintery Christmas:
Luckily we have plenty of coffee around here to warm us up!
After a few cold days, the weather was beautiful and we decided to make a 60km drive to the town of Tequila!
The town of Tequila is considered Pueblo Magico (Magical Town) in Mexico and World Heritage Site
And with good reason… this place is beautiful!
And.. uhm… the ‘cantaritos’ are not bad either 😉
We had the most delicious mexican meal – Chiles en Nogada, Tacos de Arrachera and Molcajete de queso, some of our favorites:
When you travel to Mexico make sure to try a ‘Negra Modelo’ also called “the crème of beer”… it’s my favorite! if you like a nice stout this is for you. Otherwise, you can always have a Corona Light 😉
I was so lucky to have a chance to cross a few things off my to-do list, like refreshing the wardrobe a bit:
… I also got to spend a bit of time with my friends. Here one of my best friends and I found a photobooth and had some fun:
…and even found some time to get on full work mode! Here I’m designing a mobile prototype and preparing it for development. I love my setup!
Overall, my trip to Mexico was incredible as always, filled with warmth, food, lovely faces and great memories.
Do you have any exciting vacations coming up?
